Cartridge seals — single & double

A cartridge seal is a fully assembled mechanical seal that installs quickly and removes the setting errors that cause early failure. Single cartridge seals are the general-purpose choice across water, wastewater and chemical duties.

Double cartridge seals are used where the pumped fluid is not a suitable lubricant for the sealing faces, where the liquid media is aggressive, or where atmospheric leakage is unacceptable — running a barrier or buffer fluid to the application's API plan.

Correct face specification is essential to performance, and every metal part and O-ring is specified against the duty.
